Trevor was the first born son of Joan and Albert Mc Dermott. Trevor had an amazing kind and loving heart, with a personality that was larger than life. All who new and loved him remember him with fondness and remember his passion for drumming. He joined the HAMILTON FLUTE BAND at the tender age of seven, he left the hamilton's and joined the EAST BANK IRISH STREET FLUTE BAND. He loved both the bands, when Trevor passed away member's of both bands payed very special tribute's to Trevor, the HAMILTON BAND MEMBER'S said he was one if not the best drummer's they had and should never have left them "QUOTE" "as he was to good for the east bank" ( sorry boy's ) Trevor's only other love in his life was his family. His partner Assunta whom he adored and his two beautiful children, his son Trevor junior, and his daughter Jemma, sadly Trevor's little daughter was diagnoised with cancer at the tender age of seven and after a very long battle little Jemma lost her battle and passed away on the 28/01/2007 Losing Jemma devasted the entire family but Trevor never recovered from losing his little girl and as we see he passed away a few years later. Tragicly we then lost our darling, aunt Vi 6 months later and just weeks after losing Violet my Mum's youngest sister we also lost our Darling Mum, both to cancer. We miss them all so very very much and always will. x I dedicate this memorial to my precious dear brother who would have been fifty one today.
